1. Enrollment and Registration:
All students must complete the registration process and provide accurate information before enrolling in swimming classes at BYoung Swim School. You can either enrol through our website @byoungswimming.org or you can call directly to provide information. After beinging this processs a medical/ consent form will be sent out to obtain necessary medical history of the swimmer. Enrollment in classes is subject to availability, and class placement is at the discretion of BYoung Swim School. Please fill out this form on our website or contact our social media on Facebook or Instagram. New enrollments throughout the term must pay for the remainder of the term time.
2. Photography:
Photography, including that from mobile phones, laptops or any other image-capturing device is NOT permitted without the express permission of Centre and swim school staff. Please refrain from having phones out when on pool-side and during overview of lessons to prevent any concern or distress of participants. Please note CCTV operates in all our facilities.
3. Payment and Fees:
Fees for swimming classes are due after registration the finalization of enrolment. Each month of swimming lessons will be £40 in total, with payments will be made at the start of each month. Plans may be available for certain programs, for example, free trial lessons can be provided at the discretion of BYoung Swimming. Refunds or credits can be issued if expectations of services fall short but this is at the discretion of BYoung Swim School. 4. Class Attendance and Cancellation:
Students are expected to attend all scheduled swimming classes on time. BYoung Swim School reserves you the right to cancel or reschedule classes due to unforeseen circumstances, including inclement weather or instructor availability. Students must provide advance notice of any absences or cancellations, and make-up classes may be offered at the discretion of BYoung Swim School.
5. Supervision and Entry Requirements:
At our venues of lessons, we ask that parents wait inside the shower area or close by in hallways to provide the most effective and optimal swim lessons. We understand that parents would like to be more involved in the teaching process of their child, however, to create the most effective teaching environments, parent(s) must be out of view to limit distractions. Exceptions for this can be made but it must be under strenuous circumstances that compromises the ability of the swimmer, parents may sit on the poolside to emotionally support their child as long as they follow pool rules. At the start of lessons, children must wait outside the pool under supervision until the teacher is ready to commence the class. At the end of the lesson, parents must be prepared to collect their child. As the condition of entry, all patrons must follow the directions of the centre staff.
6. Safety and Conduct:
Safety is our top priority at BYoung Swim School. Students and parents are expected to adhere to all safety rules and guidelines provided by our instructors. Proper swimwear and equipment must be worn during swimming classes, and all participants must follow pool rules and regulations. Respectful behaviour and cooperation with instructors and staff are expected from all students and parents.
7. Liability and Waiver:
Whilst attending our facilities both your property and your person shall be at your own risk. You agree that BYoung Swimming shall not be liable, except where caused by gross negligence of BYoung Swimming or any of their instructors, for any:- loss, damage or theft of any property belonging to you or your guest (including minors).-death, personal injury or illness occurring to you or your guest (including minors) on the premises during lessons-death, personal injury or illness occurring to you or your guest (including minors) or as a result of the use of any facilities or equipment provided by facilitiesBy enrolling in our swimming classes, students and parents acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with aquatic activities.Injuries during lessons will be investigated, factoring in the specific circumstances of the lesson, negligence, supervision protocols, and the standard of care expected from our instructors.
8. Privacy Policy:
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information on how we collect, use, and disclose your data.
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions:
BYoung Swim School reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this website.
